"Land for Wildlife" & “Wildlife Land Trust” Sanctuary

Located in the heart of the picturesque Margaret River wine appellation, Bussells Bushland Cottages is a gazetted “Land for Wildlife” and “Wildlife Land Trust” sanctuary. The rustic charm of our 8 well-appointed (self-contained) rammed-earth cottages is complemented by the natural (20 hectare) bush block, well treed with jarrah, marri, banksia and peppermint trees; and home to prolific birdlife, possums, brush-tailed phascogales (wambengers), bandicoots and kangaroos.

With its easy accessibility and convenience to all of the region’s delights, Bussells Bushland Cottages remains the property of choice for thousands of visitors to the region. They love the tranquillity of the bush block and many come back again and again.
